We joined the rest of the school to walk to St. David's Church, in order to celebrate harvest. The service by Father Julien was lovely and the children all enjoyed singing our wonderful harvest songs. We really appreciated the support of all our Mums/Grans who gave up their time to walk along the route with us, on what started out as a really wet day!
The highlight of our week however, was visiting Rockwool on Thursday. The children (and grown-ups) had a fabulous time building animal dens, collecting food for our animals and listening to the sounds of the forest. We loved following a rope while blindfolded, and collecting leaves that matched colour swatches. The puddles we could splash through made it even more exciting. At the end of our lovely experience we were muddy and tired, and certainly looking forward to eating our picnic lunch at school. Another big thank you to our 'Nannas', who came along to Rockwool for the second week running, and were fantastic :)
