We propped up the ramps on an equal angle. The ramps were all the same size and shape. We dropped the same car down each material then we used a measuring tape to measure from the end of the ramp to where the car stopped. We had lots of fun doing this experiment!!!
The wool had the most friction, its distance was 10cm. We think that is because the wool was very bumpy and that prevented the car from moving easily.
The felt had the least friction its distance was 72cm. We think that is because the felt was very smooth and that helped the car glide down the ramp.
